Email clients strip style sheets, web fonts and SVG, invert colours in dark mode and cut long signatures. So the signature is the plainest thing in the brand: one table, inline styles, the email font stack, the mark as a hosted picture on a Bone tile, and a plain-text twin for clients that show no HTML.

The box#
- One row: the mark at 48 by 48 pixels, then a text cell of 5 lines at most.
- The name at 15 pixels and weight 700 in ink; the role and the studio in ink 2; the phone and the email as links; the site; one optional line: an availability line or a Get a quote link.
- Text 14 pixels or larger, in Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; ink and ink 2 only; links underlined; no background colours.
- 480 pixels wide at most, and 10,000 characters of HTML at most.
- No style sheet, classes, scripts, web fonts, data addresses, SVG, tracking pixels or social icons; every image is an absolute HTTPS address with alt text (BB-EMAIL-03, BB-EMAIL-04).

Install it
- Gmail: open Settings, then See all settings. In General, find Signature, choose Create new, paste, and choose Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
- Apple Mail: open Mail, then Settings, then Signatures. Add a signature, untick Always match my default message font, paste, and close the window.
- Outlook on the web: open Settings, then Mail, then Compose and reply. Paste into Email signature and choose Save.
Nothing you type here is stored or sent: the signature is made in this page.
Install it#
- Gmail: Settings, See all settings, General, Signature: create a new signature and paste.
- Apple Mail: Settings, Signatures: add one, untick "Always match my default message font", and paste.
